2024-11-20 Canola and Soybeans Harvesting
2024-11-20T04:00:35Z New farming day has started, actually I was up for several hours after eating days first meal but then felt tired again and with Giants Editor v10 not being released on tuesday (one week from fs25 release) like many people expected, felt a little disappointed so went to take a nap. Woke up few moments ago, nothing going on in the community forum or discord, kdenlive is rendering videos for over half an hour, so well yeah decided to continue farming until I get bored.
This savegame now has 98hrs 25min on it.
Ooh getting close to that magical one hundred hours mark 
But when I launched fs25 there was notification that some mods are missing, oh right yeah I moved all the mods from PMC Gaming computer to PMC Linux computer in order for me to properly test them at PMC DevSurf computer (enough computer names for you yet? hehe) as on my previous farming/gaming session I got quite bored of playing, but then I didn't manage to do any testing, guess I have to now copy back those mods I was using in this savegame.
Did one more day of time accelerating to get into; apr in-game 0730hrs soybeans planting season. Overnight as usual 3.8k got deducted from my bank account for loan interest, man I'm telling ya, that will bleed me try before I get to pay it back even with all these new fields I have now. But just need to keep grinding. I'm now thinking that after this soybeans harvest maybe I'll dedicate one field to grass and keep hammering silage bales out of it twice a year. But first, soybeans and canola harvest this year.

And to be completely honest, kdenlive finished rendering while I was eating, there is no CPU fan screaming noise anymore, but I will stick to my plan and finish this soybeans planting and harvest season before switching computers and continue terrain editing for FS25.
Refilled last seed pallet from my farm yard into kverneland optima rs, its now 646 liters (97%) full.

Just barely managed to drive with this planter hooked up my tractor, it fit the bridge so tight. Stopped in for a diesel refuel at the gas station, then refilled seeds at the dealership and back to planting soybeans.

Made a decision during this planting field work, after I get F08 planted with soybeans I'm going to sell off this kverneland optima rs planter, this 660 liter capacity on the seed tank is just ridiculous, it has to go, no matter what I have to get that kinze 4905 blue drive planter since I now have a powerful enough tractor to pull it. I will not do planting seasons anymore with such awfully low seed capacity.
Drove to the dealership for another seed refill before continuing to the next field.

PMCTODO F08 was prepared with a disc harrow on top of ... hmm was it growing or ready to harvest cotton crop, which turned it into stubble tillage field stage or type rather, this is the almost FS22 looking brown field ground texture. Now when you use direct drill planter on stubble tillage there is so subtle change on the shading of the field texture that you can just barely see it, in fact I would say that you cant see the difference on a quick glance, you have to be really careful when checking where have you planted before. Hmm not sure how to avoid this, meaning stubble tillage which was done by disc harrow (fermet softer 11 ps) when ran on top of a existing crop. Well one way is to use a deep cultivator, that generates that traditional beautiful black dirt ground texture for fields. But other than that... yeah you might be in world of hurt with this kind of annoying field ground texture shade issue, so be aware.

Next planting season will be done with kinze 4905 blue drive for sure, no matter what I have to do to get the money, hell I'll even resort to leasing it if everything else fails 
But with this upcoming soybeans and canola grain sale I should be making at least that 250k what that kinze costs.
ALT-TABbed for few moments to download few mods. Then used challenger mt665 to pickup anderson rbm2000 bale collecting trailer from the dealership carage building, its been there since my last silage bale selling operation, brought it back to my farm yard. Then saved game. Next up is time acceleration until canola harvest season begins in jul. Oh, checked and yeah I still have 18.3k liters of soybeans so jun is the best market price day for those, will have to remember to sell them off.

Jul in-game 0914hrs canola is ready to harvest, finally get to break out my brand new case ih axial-flow 7150 combine harvester
But man, I absolutely HATE how that case ih axial-flow 7150 engine sound plays out, it sounds like a jet engine 
Hmm hopefully there will be some vehicle sound replacement mod for it, if not then maybe I have to learn how to make one myself. If some of those larger combine harvesters sound like this case ih does then yeah absolutely I'll have to.

Canola yield from F02 was 19.9k. Dumped the trailer into farm grain bin and then hooked challenger mt665 up with bredal k105 spreader, going to put first layer of fertilizer into F02.

2024-11-20T10:11:37Z Alarm went off on the phone for a lunch break, I actually found one last piece of expensive junk food and dessert from my freezer yesterday so was glad that today I can feast on expensive stuff, so this is one of those oven pre-heated things so 12min for that and 5min for baking/cooking before getting to eat, I just stopped combine harvester and turned its engine off, I want to chill while eating, there is plenty of time to harvest.
